Good news for a Wednesday morning, David Fincher’s latest outing of dirt and dank comes in the form of Swedish powerhouse thriller, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, and the trailer is here for your viewing: http://www.dragontattoo.com/ We get to see the likes of Rooney Mara, Daniel Craig and Christopher Plummer in action as Karen O’s awesome version of Led Zeppelin’s Immigrant Song screeches in the background. There was a lot of online activity surrounding the pirate copy release of the red band version of the trailer, but aside from a few blood-spattered moments, this green band trailer is more rewarding without the jerky camera and crap sound. Also, how about that tagline? Written as though scrawled on the walls of an abandoned crack-den, “The feel bad movie of Christmas” is a great piece of marketing, and I’m already excited about the prospect of a new David Fincher movie coming soon – even if it is a remake of an already excellent adaptation. Roll on Boxing Day!!
