Eran Creevy's low-budget 'dealer in the hood' pic Shifty was well-received and obviously got him noticed, because now Creevy's back with another London-set crime tale, although this time we have a bigger budget and some A-list actors in the shape of James McAvoy, Mark Strong, Andrea Riseborough, David Morrissey and Peter Mullan. As you will see, McAvoy plays a young copper looking to bring down Strong's seasoned crim - sounds very much like Heat, and the Michael Mann influence has been noted with the blue wash of Canary Wharf being the prevalent backdrop. This is one of my most aniticpated for 2013, and looks to be another great British crime tale.
