A Look at 2012

So, 2012 is finally drawing to a close, and it's been an exciting year for film and cinema, as we've seen Danny Boyle go live-action in London with the Olympic opening ceremony, Odeon acquire the BFI IMAX, Cineworld acquire the Picturehouse, Nolan complete his Dark Knight trilogy, Disney obtain Lucasfilm, a silent movie bathe in Oscar's glory and Ridley Scott return to outer space. In short, it's been epic.
To mark the occasion, I have compiled my Top Ten for 2012 below, so have a gander and see what you think.
(Even though I am yet to see Jack Reacher and The Hobbit, and no doubt will enjoy both of them - especially Jackson's return - I don't think they will affect my decisions below....I'll amend if they do)
