The Man of Steel

After releasing two versions of the same teaser trailer (one with Kevin Coster voiceover, one with Russell Crowe) over the summer, we now get a better look at Zack Snyder's The Man of Steel. With Chris Nolan on producing duty and a grizzly Henry Cavill as Clark Kent / Superman, we can see the moodier, more realistic tone of the film when compared with it's predecessors - certainly compared with Bryan Singer's Superman Returns, which was, quite frankly, a massive let down. Pointing out the obvious, Nolan was likely influential in Snyder's approach, even if indirectly, as his Dark Knight trilogy was so successful with fans, critics and the box office alike, it seemed like a good approach to go with. I'm excited about this one, and relieved it looks good after the utter crap that was Sucker Punch. But remembering Watchmen and 300 Snyder has shown he can entertain like hell, so with Nolan peeping his head round the door, and an all-star cast, I think we're in for something special.  Enjoy.
